Morrissey canceled his show. I was so bummed. Matt took me to SF to shop and for dinner at my fave place to eat Weird Fish which was way nice. We spent an hour on Haight and then headed over to Mission to see if we could get a table, we made reservations and they were supposed to call but we never got the call so we went back after walking around trying to find Rainbow Co-op and checking out some art and were kinda like "hey you forgot about us"...so we got the next table and loads of free appitizers. This was the best meal ever, let me break it down for you: (starters) buffalo girls - seitan with buffalo sauce and vegan ranch house fries yam & potato mix (dinner) me - d. blood’s mix - with three sauces 1 seitan, 1 tofu, 3 huge pieces of fried zuccini and a side of spicy brocolinni - with chili flakes Matt - tofu - with sweet & sour sauce vegan soy-batter (gluten free) 3pc *both came with fries and slaw (dessert) strawberry cheese cake (vegan of course) that was to die for, it was topped with a strawberry rose If you happen to be in SF and want a good meal try WF. Dinner and dessert (minus the free apps) was $38 which was not bad at all. |

Off to see Morrissey in Oakland tomorrow. Matt bought us tickets for our 3rd anniversary! I have been pretty busy with random stuff lately. Matt started a new job this week for the census, he is making really good money! I am working on an etsy and crafting a lot! I wish there was more to say but really there is not! |

Matt got us tickets to go see Morrissey in Oakland for our anniversary. I am very happy and hope that things will have calmed down over there by next month. I have been crafting, playing Little Big Planet and just hanging out around home. The weather has been really nice. Matt's allergies are killing him. These 2 lil kitties are back at Pet's Mart I though got adopted a few weeks ago. For some reason I am drawn to them. I cannot afford the $85 each for them plus Mar would not be happy. I think he likes to be the lone cat...I hope they get a good home. |

I have been busy just doing random things. Random things that have kept me busy: -crafting -baking (yesterday I spent 5 hours in the kitchen) -counting down to Resident Evil 5 with Matt -having a lil bday party for Mar who turned 12! -walking around the neighborhood -cleaning -buying candles at a botanica on Carpentar I am starting on a few projects tomorrow. I do a lot of swaps on Craftster, I like hanging out on the boards. I went to 1 roller derby practice. I am really on the fence about joining the team. The equipment cost is going to be over $100, then there are $30 monthly dues. A few of the girls are really rude and a lot of them like to get drunk... I am tired! |

This week has been busy. First Morrissey's new album came out, which of course I love. Matt went out and picked it up for me and had to go to Riverbank to get it, since it was sold out here. Mar had to get his teeth cleaned, he had to have a tooth pulled, then he had an allergic reaction to fleas and had worms. He is fine now just having to take antibiotics and had to switch flea meds. In Spring we are going to flea bomb the house to just keep everything safe. My cousin and her girlfriend came over and we hung out and talked. She is coming back over this coming week for her bday, I am making peanut butter cupcakes for her. My step dad's bday is tomorrow, I plan on making him a carrot cake...Then my mom's and Mar's is the following week... We have been over at my dad's house a few times this week. Now he wants us back to sort through and file his papers. I told Matt to just drop me off. My dad can drive me crazy! I was approached to join a roller derby team...I am really thinking about learning to skate and joining! |

We have been really sick. We went to SF to the Totoro forest exhibit, did some shopping and came back around 9. The next day I had a sore throat. By the weekend I was coughing up blood and then Matt got sick. While we are both better we are still not 100%. I am hoping to bake and craft some. Matt is working on a music video. My cousin and her girlfriend came over last Friday to help out. My dad hired a person he buys drugs from to clean his house, she stole his credit card and charged $600 worth of stuff to it within 24 hours. My dad is really stupid. Mar is getting his teeth cleaned in a few weeks. It is $300 but the vet said he needs it. I just get panicky when he goes to the vet. That is about all... |

This week I am trying to be super crafty so I can make an etsy and bring more stuff into the shops I sell at. So last week I taught myself to embroider which is fun. I now am embroidering everything! Also I have baking planned, which would of happened today but I ran out of baking powder and vanilla after I made breakfast yesterday. I made chocolate chip pancakes with sliced bananas topped with organic maple syrup and chocolate sauce with a side of 'fakin' bacon'. These are the foods I live for and due to having an eating disorder for most of my 20s I now get to enjoy since I have gotten help. Sure I am not a size 4 any longer but I am also not reading cookbooks instead of eating or making food. Mar has a vet appointment this week. Last week he was coughing up a fur ball and it looked a bit pink and it freaked me out. He has not been to the vet in awhile due to not finding a decent one. My mom gave me her recommendation and I feel safe in her judgment. Matt is going to take me to SF in the first week of Feb. for the Totoro exhibit. I am looking forward to that! I still have no idea what to make/buy him for v-day. I need to start looking for a card before all the good ones are gone! Morrissey's new single is out - I ordered it from the UK this morning on CD and vinyl! |

xmas photos
We had a nice easy giftmas. On giftmas eve we went out for pizza with my mom and step dad, then went to their house for dessert with my dad. I bought a pumpkin pie from costco but made a vegan carrot cake to share complete with vegan cream cheese frosting: We opened gifts, I got a vegan cookbook, $$$, a bunch of gift cards and cookware. Matt got a gift card and a blanket, his other gifts were at home from my parents. We ate sweets (my cake was a hit), played with the cats and dogs and took off. We opened gifts from my cousin and aunt, my cousin took pictures off my myspace of Matt and I and framed them - it was really sweet! Matt with a clever gift card holder: The next morning I got up, stuffed stockings, took a shower and we opened gifts. I was wayyyy spoiled. Not only did I get a Betsey Johnson purse but a bunch of cool toys like Cat Bus: Matt got a PS3 (he had some $ saved, my dad put in the rest). He has been playing Grand Theft Auto 4 (that I bought him)nonstop daily. Mar loved his toys that Santa brought him. However he has been putting the cat tower we got him to great use: After all the gifts were open we went by and dropped off gifts at Matt's mom's, went to the cemetery and ate Chinese food. We came home and relaxed and then Matt's brother and his girl friend came over and we sat around talking... We have just done errands the last few days. Today I went to visit my mom and her dog got protective of the garage and bit me! It freaked me out - after I bought him a gift! Next weekend we are going to Sacramento for shopping and fun! |

So we have our tree up. It is plastic - so uses for many years to come and the ornaments are from my childhood. I asked mom if I could have them, she even found our old Cabbage Patch kids and gave them to me. I am finished shopping. I just have a few more things to wrap. I baked cookies and have more baking to do. I am going to help dad do some shopping tomorrow. The other day Matt helped him change a few light bulbs and now dad thinks he is the bee's knees. Other than that I have been really crampy lately. I have to pop pain pills almost everyday. I hope this ends soon. Plus since it is cold the leg/area where I get shingles has been throbbing at night. Happy holidays everyone! |

Hand Born went well, I sold a lot of stuff and met some cool people. I did not do much shopping since I crossing the street to other venues or getting around crowds was a bitch. I am really thinking about putting an Etsy up and doing more shows. We are going to Sacramento tomorrow to check out the scene over there and stock up on Legos and food at Whole Foods. I got my IUD (paragaurd) today. It hurt so bad going in. I have been cramping on and off all day. Mom set me up with some pain pills though...I just hope my mood problems go away...Matt cannot handle it and I cannot handle the stress. I am almost done xmas shopping. I need to sneak out and buy Matt a PS3! I am trying to get a photo of Mar dressed up as santa but he hates his hat! I am making xmas card this year - I need the perfect picture! |

Sacramento was fun, I spent to much at Whole Foods but bought some baking stuff I needed. We will be going back on Dec. 6th I believe. The concert was good, Matt got his CD signed. It closed down at 11, so we got home early enough not to feel to tired. Twilight - Good but like always not as good as the book. I am happy there will be another movie, I want to see how it plays out. We saw it on Friday and it was packed, when we got out there were lines. I wore my Twilight shirt that Matt bought me. I guess some of my complaints were that it seemed to skip by to fast and all the drama did not seem like it was there. Religulous - Came to Modesto - about time. We went with my mom and step father. It was a good movie, however I think it could have had more stuff. My step father said Bill needed to talk more about eastern religion. I did not like his rant in the end, it just felt cold. I am not a believe, but I do have beliefs and he made it seem like that anyone that believed in anything was stupid. Maybe that is just what I took out of it. My dad is coming back from Las Vegas and we are going to all have a small thanksgiving at my mom's. I am going to make rice and corn bread...Maybe some cookies. If you are in Modesto this Saturday come out to Hand Born. It will be all over J st. I have a table at rage salon. |

I think I have a cold or something. I got home last night from spending time with dad then mom and ate dinner. After dinner and a shower I fell asleep watching TV. I woke up and my head, nose and throat were hurting. I told Matt he can go get me medicine later. Over the weekend Matt's sister stayed the night. It was her 15th birthday so we took her shopping for shoes at the mall. We ate in Turlock and since the weather was warm we feed the ducks at the park. On Sunday I got up and made pancakes and watched TV with her. We got her late on Saturday so we went to Borders for their Twilight even and I stayed an hour or so, till it got to loud. We got a Costco card and bought a huge case of cat food for Mar. This week we are going to Davis for a concert and some shopping in Sacramento, going to go see Twilight and then seeing Riligilous with mom and George. I need to craft more because the following week is Hand Born... I need to start xmas shopping! |

The party went well. We got a lot of gifts, doubles of some so we took a few back. Some people I thought would show up did not and it kinda pissed me off. Dad was on good terms but he showed off a bit to much. Matt's mom was even really nice. I think it is because we were burning our peaceful home candle. Everyone enjoyed the vegan food, the cookies I baked ended up all gone. I made another batch a few days later and mom came and picked some up. Monday was the 5 year anniversary of my sister's death. Matt and I helped mom out at the cemetery and decorated. I just thought and prayed to her all day. Here are some pictures my mom took: At the cemetery - The crash site - Only a few days till we can vote. The school were the polls are is located a few houses down. I am exited! Tomorrow is Halloween, we are going to see if Matt's brother and his girlfriend want to come over. Now back to "Twilight" - I really am getting into this book! |

So I am preparing for our house warming. We sent out 10 invites and with less than a week left I check our registry and no one has bought us anything. I have a lot to do as far as baking and cleaning. I have been feeling under the weather lately. One person who will most likely not be coming to our party is my dad. About a week ago, I called him from my cell to see if he was doing OK. He asked for the home number and I could not remember it, he started screaming and yelling that I was stupid. When I got home the phone was ringing, I had to *69 back since I did not answer it on time. It was my lovely father telling me how much of a 'worthless bitch' I am and that he will not help us any longer and he hopes we will be on the street...Nice huh? Over the weekend I made cupcakes for Matt's cousins party and we went to Patterson. Matt and I fought most of the time. Matt thinks I am expecting to much when i would liek to hear thanks for making cupcakes. Not only that but my tupperware went missing and Matt told me that if it was so special I should have not used it. Next week his family is coming to our party, his mom wanted us to invite his aunt, I said no since she always gave me dirty looks, Matt stood up for me on that one at least. While in Patterson I ran into Uni (and her Ukulele) and got more people educated on some important props coming up. We have our Obama sign on our lawn - it was $8, it better not be snatched. I would have gotten a no on prop 8 but it was $10. With dad not helping us and mar needing a check up for the vet i better watch the $. We have an altar set up in our house with saints and 7 day candles. We went to the Catholic store to buy saint/holy cards and the girl did not want to sell them to us because we are not catholic, she said god must be testing her. We finally got our cards and I called and complained to the manager todaya nd got a sorry! I need a nap! |

I just wanted to post I met Sarah Kramer (all you veggies should know who this is). The trip up to SF was fun. We went to Botanica Yoruba and stocked up on Santeria supplies to cleanse our house. I am feeling under the weather...Off to turn in for the night! |

So we are settling in. We decided to hold the house warming mid/late Oct. so we can go with a haunted-house-warming theme. This way I can indulge in all the fancy decorations Target has out that I can use year around! Ohh and all the Martha Stewart stuff at Michael's! I am still unpacking my office. i need to find storage stuff. I have most of my collectibles and cool toys displayed. This Friday we are going up to SF for a vegan cookbook party put on by VegNews. It seems like forever since we have been up to SF. Then Saturday we are going to the movies. We have just been house bound lately. Last weekend we went to a family get together for Matt's little cousin and stayed all day missing Modesto's pride. I took dad grocery shopping on Sunday to insure that he gets decent food. I have been crafting up a storm, Hand Born is at the end of November and I want a lush table. Last year I did well, this year I want to do better! I am working on some resin jewelery, knitted gloves, cat toys, kawaii charm jewelery - a bit of everything. I am addicted to Gossip Girl. I really think Ed Westwick (Chuck)is hot. I bought the first season on DVD. I figure it is a gift since I made $190 at a yard sale last weekend at mom's. Is anyone else making xmas lists? I want to start shopping and getting it over with! |

Yes, I am alive. I have just been really busy. Moving is hard. We have been here about two weeks and things seem a bit more 'normal' now. Tyler (the stray) is still over at the apartments, he escaped from the cage and now will not let us near him. I feel so bad, we bring a plate of food every few days over there. Mar is here and learning how to climb fences, so my eye is on him when he is allowed in the backyard. It took awhile to get DSL since we had to go buy a wireless adapters and such. Our oven is a mess and since I do not have a working vent I cannot use the self clean button. The house is really nice, we have spent way to much money on new stuff but we are happy. We plan on having a house warming when we can use the oven so I can bake. I need to have a yard sale to get rid of a bunch of junk and do something nice for my parents and step dad for helping us out so much...I still have a lot of unpacking to do. I will post pics soon! |
